Long-term/short-term goals

I would like to pursue a performance career out in California. In order to progress towards this goal I intend to get a job waitressing or bartending to make fast money. This way I can save up money to move and survive a higher cost of living on the west coast. In the meantime I would be doing a lot of online research to see what opportunity is out there and where I can find upcoming auditions.

Another goal that seems pretty surreal at this point in time would be to dance in hip-hop music videos. I would need to train more in the hip-hop technique and perhaps audition for local dances troupes that practice this style.

My last long-term goal would be to possibly tour the world in a dance company. Once again this would require online researching and making connections with people outside the U.S. Saving money from my day job would also provide means to travel.

This month I will be researching dance opportunity in California and book a plane ticket to fly out to either San Diego or San Francisco this January. I'm currently planning a trip with a good friend of mine, and I intend to take advantage of audition opportunities during my stay.
